Product Information
We make every reasonable effort to ensure that all product descriptions, images, specifications, pricing, and availability shown on the website are accurate.
However, errors may occasionally occur. Tasty Tech will not be liable for any loss, claim, or expense arising from incorrect information displayed on the website or on any third party platform, except where required by law. If an error is identified after an order has been placed, we reserve the right to correct it and contact you with the appropriate next steps.
Pricing and Availability
All prices are listed in South African Rand and include VAT unless otherwise stated. Delivery charges are not included in product prices and will be calculated at checkout where applicable.
We aim to keep stock availability updated on each product page. In some cases, stock levels may change before the website is updated. If an item becomes unavailable after an order is placed, we will notify you as soon as possible and may offer an alternative product, a back order option, or a refund.
Despite our best efforts, some products on the website may occasionally be incorrectly priced. If a product’s correct price is lower than the price displayed, we will charge the lower amount and send the product. If the correct price is higher than the displayed price, Tasty Tech reserves the right to cancel the order or contact you before dispatch to confirm whether you would still like to proceed.
If a product is incorrectly displayed at zero value or at an obviously incorrect amount due to a website or system error, Tasty Tech reserves the right to cancel the order and apply the correct retail price.
Payment
Full payment must be received before an order is processed, dispatched, or released for collection unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Tasty Tech may accept various payment methods as indicated on the website from time to time. Orders will only be confirmed once payment has cleared successfully.
Delivery
Delivery times provided on the website are estimates and may vary depending on your location, stock availability, courier delays, or factors beyond our control.
Tasty Tech will not be liable for delays caused by third party couriers, weather disruptions, public unrest, technical issues, or any other circumstance beyond our reasonable control.
Collection Policy
If your order is marked for collection, it is your responsibility to collect it within the agreed time.
Tasty Tech will hold goods for 24 to 48 hours after notifying you that they are ready for collection. Thereafter, a storage fee of R200 per day may apply until collection is arranged.
7 Day Return Policy
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return it within 7 days of receipt, subject to the conditions below.
To be eligible for a return, the following conditions must be met:
The product must be in its original packaging and in the same condition as it was received.
The return must include all original accessories, attachments, manuals, and packaging.
Proof of purchase must be provided.
Customers are responsible for the shipping fees associated with returning the product unless the return is due to a manufacturing fault, transit damage, or an error on our part.
Refunds may be issued within a reasonable processing period or may be offered as store credit for future purchases, depending on the circumstances and applicable consumer law.
Warranty
Warranty periods may vary depending on the product category and whether the item is new or reconditioned.
New Products
Unless otherwise stated on the product page, new products may include a manufacturer’s warranty or a Tasty Tech warranty. Warranty cover applies to manufacturing faults only and does not cover accidental damage, misuse, water damage, unauthorised repairs, improper installation, or normal wear and tear.
Reconditioned Products
Tasty Tech offers selected reconditioned products that have been professionally inspected, tested, refurbished, sanitised, and fitted with replacement consumables where applicable.
Each reconditioned unit is sold with a warranty period clearly stated on the product page at the time of purchase. Depending on the item, this may range between 3 and 6 months.
By purchasing a reconditioned product, you acknowledge that:
It is not brand new
It has been restored to reliable working condition
Minor cosmetic imperfections may be present
The applicable warranty period will be stated at the time of sale
Exchange and Refund Conditions
An exchange may be requested under one of the following conditions:
The product has sustained damage in transit and this was identified when unpacked and checked in the presence of the courier
There has been a misrepresentation of the product based on the original product description
A manufacturing defect is found
A refund may be requested under one of the following conditions:
A manufacturing defect is found within 7 working days of receipt
The product has already been exchanged once but still has a manufacturing defect
The product was received significantly later than the guaranteed delivery date due to external factors
Refunds and Exchanges Will Not Be Honoured In The Following Cases
Damage in transit was not reported immediately
The refund or exchange request is made after 7 working days from receipt
The product is returned without all original accessories, attachments, and packaging
The product has been damaged due to misuse, neglect, abuse, improper installation, or unauthorised modification
Proof of purchase cannot be provided or has been tampered with
Testing confirms that the product has no manufacturing defect
Damage was caused by external factors including water, oil, sand, fire, flood, lightning, or power related events
Serial numbers, labels, or other identifying marks have been altered or removed
Price Match Policy
Tasty Tech may, at its discretion, offer a price match against authorised South African competitors, provided that all of the following criteria are met:
The competitor is based in South Africa
The item is in stock and available for immediate purchase
The item is identical in brand, model, and specifications
The competitor’s offer is not part of a clearance sale, flash sale, limited time promotion, bundle, or special offer
The item is not second hand or refurbished
Tasty Tech may request proof of the competitor’s price in order to verify eligibility. We reserve the right to limit the number of items eligible for price matching per customer.
Force Majeure and External Factors
Tasty Tech will not be held responsible for any delay or failure to comply with its obligations if the delay or failure arises from circumstances beyond our reasonable control. This includes but is not limited to courier issues, supplier delays, natural disasters, public unrest, technical outages, and other unforeseen events.
Refund Processing and Fees
Refund processing times may vary depending on the payment method used.
Where a refund is requested without a valid reason under the Consumer Protection Act, Tasty Tech reserves the right to charge a handling fee of R500 or 10 percent of the invoice value, whichever is greater.
Pre order cancellations may carry an administrative fee of 5 percent of the invoice value.
Packaging for Returns
Any goods returned to Tasty Tech must be packaged properly and safely for transit. We will not be held liable for damage caused during return transit due to inadequate packaging.
